<p>The war between Israel and Iran is in its fifth day. Over 230 people have died in Iran, while the death toll in Israel has reached 24. <p><strong>Israel-Iran Tension:</strong> The conflict between Iran and Israel, which began on Friday, is intensifying daily. On Monday night, both sides exchanged missile strikes, with Iran appearing to suffer more significant damage. Alongside the military conflict, a fierce war of words has also escalated.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Netanyahu&#8217;s Threat, Iran&#8217;s Response</h2>



<p>Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that this war will only end with the assassination of Iran&#8217;s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Rajasthan Crime: Tantrik played a bloody game, accused of killing three, Rs 40 lakh recovered from son&#39;s house, Tantrik absconding


<p><strong>Rajasthan Crime News:</strong> A case of a tantrik playing a deadly game has emerged from Khajuwala town in Bikaner. Police, acting on the case, have recovered ₹40 lakh from the house of the accused tantrik&#8217;s son. The accused tantrik remains at large.</p>



<p>The accused tantrik allegedly laced halwa with a narcotic substance and fed it to seven people before absconding with ₹50 lakh. One person died in Khajuwala, and two others were hospitalised in critical condition. The bodies of two more individuals were found in a field near Shobhasar, 15 km from Bikaner. The incident originated from Ward number 16 of Khajuwala.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How the Deadly Game Began</h2>



<p>Gaffar Khan knew Shaitan Singh, a resident of Ajmer district. Shaitan, along with his uncle&#8217;s son Vikram Singh, a tantrik, and three others, came to Khajuwala (Bikaner). One individual, claiming to be a tantrik, promised to double their money. Gradually, Gaffar Khan and some of his acquaintances fell into the trap.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Returned ₹1 Lakh for ₹50,000</h2>



<p>Shaitan Singh introduced Gaffar to the tantrik and others. After receiving ₹50,000 from Gaffar, they returned ₹1 lakh. Then, they returned ₹2 lakh after receiving ₹1 lakh. Once trust was established, they obtained ₹50 lakh from Gaffar, Salman, and Rajendra Poonia. They then administered the laced halwa under the guise of tantric rituals.</p>



<p>Gaffar, at the tantrik&#8217;s behest, had sent his family away. Rajendra gave ₹45 lakh, and Gaffar gave ₹5 lakh. After consuming the halwa, one body was found in Khajuwala, and two in Shobhasar.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Police Form Nine Teams</h2>



<p>Nine special teams have been formed under the leadership of ASP (Rural) Kailash Singh Sandhu and CO Amarjeet Chawla to search for the accused. Raids are being conducted in Ajmer and other districts to apprehend the main accused tantrik.</p>



<p>The tantrik, M. Shiva, has been missing since the incident. Three people have died. Nine teams have been formed to expedite the investigation. CCTV footage is being examined, and a technical investigation is underway. A swift resolution is expected. We are searching for the tantrik, M. <p>According to the latest IMD update, heavy to very heavy rainfall, with extremely heavy rainfall in some areas, is predicted for Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Goa, and the Konkan region of Maharashtra in South India. Heavy rainfall and the risk of flooding are anticipated in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura in North-East India. Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds (50-70 km/h) is expected in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal in North India. Central India, including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha, may also experience heavy rain and thunderstorms. Moderate to heavy rainfall is likely in parts of Gujarat in Western India as the monsoon progresses.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Monsoon Status</h2>



<p>According to the IMD, the South-West Monsoon will remain active over South Peninsular India and Konkan-Goa until 16 June 2025. In the next 24 hours, it is expected to advance into parts of Gujarat, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha. Subsequently, the monsoon is likely to reach West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, and eastern Uttar Pradesh within the next three days.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Impact of the Weather</h2>



<p>Coastal and Ghat areas of Kerala and Karnataka are expected to receive over 20 cm of rainfall, increasing the risk of landslides and floods. Mumbai and surrounding areas in Maharashtra are at risk of heavy rainfall and waterlogging until 15-18 June. Flooding has already affected 1.64 lakh people in Manipur, and landslides are increasing in Mizoram. A yellow alert has been issued for Delhi-NCR with light to moderate rainfall expected until 18 June.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">IMD Advice</h2>



<p>In view of the heavy rainfall, the IMD advises people to avoid going near rivers and streams, to take precautions against lightning strikes, and to remain vigilant in landslide-prone areas. People are warned against venturing into the sea along the coasts of Kerala, Karnataka, and Goa. Preparations for relief and rescue operations should be in place in flood and landslide-affected areas.</p>

<p>Dr. Mrutyunjay Mohapatra, Director General of IMD, stated, “Due to the active monsoon, heavy rainfall conditions prevail in many parts of the country. People need to monitor weather updates and follow the instructions of the local administration.”</p>

<p><strong>MP Weather:</strong> The monsoon entered Madhya Pradesh a day later than expected, on Monday, 14 June, via Burhanpur and Khandwa. Monsoon clouds passed over Khandwa, Barwani, and Burhanpur. According to Dr. Divya Surendran, the forecast in-charge at the Meteorological Department, the monsoon will cover the entire state by 26 June, reaching Gwalior-Chambal region last. During this period, Madhya Pradesh will experience spells of thunderstorms and rain. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is also possible in several districts. A thunderstorm and rain alert has been issued for more than 45 districts of MP on Tuesday. The Meteorological Department has also issued a rain warning for several districts on 18, 19 and 20 June.</p>

Wind speeds may reach 40 to 60 kilometers per hour.</p>

<p><strong>Bay of Bengal:</strong> According to weather expert AK Shukla, the Bay of Bengal branch will soon become active. Last time, the monsoon entered through Seoni, Balaghat, and Mandla. These systems are more effective and bring good rainfall.</p>



<p><strong>Arabian Sea:</strong> This time, the monsoon arrived via the Arabian Sea branch. These monsoon clouds enter the state through Burhanpur, Khandwa, and Barwani. These systems are relatively less effective for rainfall.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Full Story</h2>



<p>Sheetal Chaudhary, a resident of Khalira Majra, Panipat, who recently lived with her sister Neha in Satkaratar Colony, worked as a model in the Haryanvi music industry. On June 14th, she went to Ahar village for the shooting of a Haryanvi album but never returned home. Her sister Neha filed a missing person report at Matlauda police station in Panipat on June 15th.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Body Recovered from River</h2>



<p>Late Sunday night, Sheetal&#8217;s body was recovered from the Reliance Canal between Khanda and Jarothi villages in Sonipat&#8217;s Kharkhauda area. Injuries and a cut throat indicated murder. She was identified by tattoos on her hand and chest.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Suspicion Falls on Boyfriend, Sunil, and Arrest</h2>



<p>The investigation revealed that Sheetal was last seen with her boyfriend, Sunil, a married man from Israna village. They had been in a relationship for five years, meeting at a hotel in Karnal where Sheetal worked. Sheetal was also married but separated from her husband; she has a child who lives with his father.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Sister Reports Assault</h2>



<p>On the night of June 14th, Sheetal video-called her sister Neha, reporting that Sunil had assaulted her, injuring her throat. Her phone then went off. Police suspected Sunil of murder and staging a car accident in the canal to destroy evidence. Sunil claimed his car accidentally fell into the canal, but later confessed to the murder during interrogation.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Reason for the Murder</h2>



<p>According to police, Sheetal decided to end the relationship because Sunil was married and pressuring her to marry him. This led to increased tension between them. The investigation revealed that in a fit of rage, Sunil stabbed Sheetal multiple times; the eighth stab pierced her trachea, causing her death. Sheetal fought for her life but was unsuccessful.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Police Action</h2>



<p>Sonipat police arrested Sunil near Park Hospital and produced him in court on Tuesday for remand. During the remand, police are investigating to recover the murder weapon and explore other aspects of the case. Sheetal&#8217;s body was sent to Khanpur Medical College for post-mortem as forensic experts were unavailable in Sonipat. The body was later handed over to her family.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Family Statement</h2>



<p>Sheetal&#8217;s sister Neha stated that Sunil had previously harassed Sheetal, and several complaints had been filed against him. This incident has sent shockwaves through the Haryanvi music industry and the local community. There are also reports of Sheetal&#8217;s work in a Haryanvi song, ‘Jan Ka Jaadda Ka’.<br>Police are thoroughly investigating all aspects of the case to uncover the full truth behind the murder.</p>

<p><strong>Census 2027:</strong> The Indian government announced on Monday, 16 June 2025, that the country&#8217;s next census will be conducted in 2027. This will be the first census since 2011 and will include a caste census for the first time since 1931. The notification was issued by the Registrar General and Census Commissioner, Mritunjay Kumar Narayan, under the Ministry of Home Affairs.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Census to be Conducted in Two Phases</h2>



<p>The notification stated that the reference date for the census will be 1 March 2027. However, for the snow-bound and inaccessible areas of Ladakh and Himalayan states (such as Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand), the reference date will be midnight on 1 October 2026.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Census Postponed Due to COVID-19</h2>



<p>It is noteworthy that the census scheduled for 2021 was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, with a delay of six years, this major exercise will be conducted in 2027. This will be the eighth census of independent India and the sixteenth overall.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Know the Census Process</h2>



<p><strong>Phase 1: House Listing Operation (HLO)</strong><br>This phase will collect information on the physical condition, property, amenities, and infrastructure of each house.</p>

<p>This massive census operation will employ approximately 3.4 million enumerators and supervisors, and 130,000 administrative officials. Notably, this census will be conducted through a digital platform, utilising a mobile application and offering self-enumeration facilities.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Amit Shah Reviews Preparations</h2>



<p>Home Minister Amit Shah reviewed the census preparations, emphasizing the importance of data security. Stringent security measures will be ensured during data collection, transmission, and storage to prevent any misuse of information.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Long-Standing Demand for Caste Census</h2>



<p>There has been a long-standing demand for a caste census at both social and political levels. The 2027 census will provide the country with official caste data for the first time, enabling the formulation of better policies and schemes for various sections of society.</p>


<p>The Union Home Ministry on Monday issued a gazette notification announcing that the Census will be conducted in 2027. This ethnic census will be conducted in two phases. The process will commence on 1 October 2026.</p>

India's 2027 Census to Proceed in Two Phases


<p>Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has announced good news for Rajasthan. The central government has approved ₹1914.71 crore for 40 road projects in the state. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for this.</p>



<p>This amount has been sanctioned for 40 state road projects spanning 1000 kilometres. These include 31 major district roads, 8 state highways, and one other district road.</p>



<p>Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, announced on social media that ₹1914.71 crore has been approved for 40 state road projects totalling 1000.90 kilometres under the Central Road Infrastructure Fund (CRIF).</p>



<p>These projects primarily involve strengthening and widening sections of various state roads (31 major district roads, 8 state highways, and 1 other district road). This will improve road connectivity and ensure smoother travel across different parts of Rajasthan.</p>

<p>MP News: Amidst a rising concern over obesity and hypertension among children and women, the central government has directed the Madhya Pradesh government to regulate the sugar and salt content in the nutritious diet provided to children and pregnant women. The Union Ministry of Women and Child Development has written to the Chief Secretaries and Women and Child Development Secretaries of the states in this regard. The ministry has warned about the presence of excessive salt, sugar, and artificial colours in the take-home rations and food provided to children and pregnant women through Anganwadis.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Central Ministry&#8217;s Letter Creates Surprise</h2>



<p>The letter from the ministry states that in some instances, the snacks and meals provided to children, pregnant women, and lactating mothers have been found to contain more salt, sugar, and artificial colours than the prescribed limits. It urges that the amount of salt, sugar, and artificial colours in their diet be controlled in accordance with World Health Organisation (WHO) standards. Earlier, the government had issued instructions to control the amount of sugar in school children&#8217;s meals.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What Should Be the Amount of Sugar and Salt?</h2>



<p>Citing WHO regulations, the Centre has urged the state that sugar should constitute 10 percent of the total nutrients and salt 5 per cent of the total energy in the food of children and adults. On the other hand, according to the National Institute of Nutrition, there should be no added sugar in the food of children under two years of age. Instead of sugar, jaggery should be used for sweetness in their food, and that too only up to 5 per cent of the total nutrients.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">These Diseases Are Caused by Excess Salt and Sugar</h2>



<p>Under the Madhya Pradesh government&#8217;s nutritional diet scheme, approximately 80 lakh pregnant women, lactating mothers, and children aged six months to six years receive nutritious food from Anganwadi centres. Excessive salt and sugar in their food can lead to hypertension, heart disease, obesity, diabetes, and dental problems.</p>


<p>MP News: The Union Ministry of Women and Child Development has written to the Chief Secretaries and Secretaries of Women and Child Development of the states in this regard. Instructions have also been issued to the Madhya Pradesh government. A major reason has come to light.</p>
