खैरथल. खैरथल कृषि उपज मंडी में पांच दिन पहले हुई ढाई लाख की लूट ने व्यापारियों में गहरा आक्रोश भर दिया है। सोमवार को मंडी में एक मुनीम से नकाबपोश लुटेरों ने दिनदहाड़े रकम लूट ली थी। लेकिन घटना के पांच दिन बाद भी पुलिस हाथ पर हाथ धरे बैठी है, पुलिस ने अब तक मामले में कोई गिरफ्तारी नहीं दिखाई है। न ही लूटी गई रकम का कोई सुराग मिल पाया है। इससे नाराज व्यापार समिति अध्यक्ष सर्वेश गुप्ता ने व्यापारियों की सहमति से निर्णय लेकर शुक्रवार से मंडी को अनिश्चितकाल के लिए बंद रखने का फैसला लिया गया। वही कृषि उपज मंडी समिति सचिव राजेश करदम ने बताया की शुक्रवार को मंडी बंद रहने से लगभग एक करोड़ के राजस्व का नुकसान हुआ है।

Jaipur : सावन के पवित्र महीने की शुरुआत आज से हो चुकी है। यही कारण है कि मंदिरों में सुबह से ही भक्त पहुंच रहे हैं।

सावन के पवित्र महीने की शुरुआत हो चुकी है। राजधानी जयपुर के शिवालयों में श्रद्धालुओं का उत्साह देखते ही बन रहा है।

शहर के चौड़ा रास्ता स्थित ताड़केश्वर महादेव मंदिर में सूर्योदय से पहले ही श्रद्धालु पहुंच गए। भोलेनाथ की पूजा—अर्चना के लिए मंदिर में श्रद्धालुओं की भीड़ उमड़ रही है। 

श्रद्धालुओं ने हर-हर महादेव के जय घोष के बीच भोलेनाथ की पूजा अर्चना कर जलाभिषेक किया। इस दौरान बोल बम ताड़क बम के जयकारे गूंजते रहे। 


शहर के झाड़खंड महादेव मंदिर में जलाभिषेक करने वालों में उत्साह दिखा। मंदिरों में शिव आराधना का सिलसिला एक महीने तक चलेगा। 

सावन शुरू होने के साथ ही आज से कावड़ यात्राएं भी शुरू हो गई है। कई लोगों ने गलता तीर्थ में डुबकी लगाने के बाद पवित्र जल से भगवान भोलेनाथ का जलाभिषेक किया। 

मंदिरों के बाहर आक, धतुरा, बेलपत्र, दूध, फूलमाला पूजन सामग्री की दुकानें सज गई हैं। मंदिरों के आसपास पुलिस का इंतजाम किया गया है।

मंदिरों और गुरु निवास पर आशीर्वाद के लिए दिनभर कतार लगी रही। 

दादा धूनी वाले मंदिर में हवन-पूजन भी किया गया। 

 प्रमुख मंदिरों में शाम को भंडारे का आयोजन किया गया।

IMD सावन का महीना शुरू होते ही मेघ राजस्थान पर मेहरबान हो गए हैं। सावन लगते ही प्रदेश के कई जिलों में बारिश की गतिविधियों में वृद्धि हो गई है। मौसम विभाग ने आगामी दो सप्ताह राजस्थान में मानसून के पूरी तरह से सक्रिय रहने की संभावना जताई है। मौसम विभाग के अनुसार आगामी दो सप्ताह तक प्रदेश के अधिकांश हिस्सों में सावन की झड़ी लगने वाली है। इस दौरान पूर्वी राजस्थान सहित कुछ जिलों में औसत से अधिक बारिश होने की प्रबल संभावना मौसम विभाग ने जताई है। वहीं पश्चिमी राजस्थान सहित कुछ जिलों में एक सप्ताह तक सामान्य से अधिक बारिश होने का पूर्वानुमान जताया है।

Pakistan: Nine bus passengers kidnapped and shot dead in Balochistan

Crime is escalating in Pakistan due to its deteriorating law and order situation. Criminal incidents are reported daily from various provinces. Balochistan province has witnessed a significant surge in such incidents over the past few years, often linked to the ongoing instability in the region. Late Thursday night, a horrific incident occurred in Balochistan, where unidentified gunmen targeted passengers on a bus.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Kidnapping and Murder</h2>



Late Thursday night, a bus carrying passengers was travelling from Quetta in Balochistan province to Lahore in Punjab province when it was stopped by unidentified gunmen. They abducted nine passengers from the bus. After checking their identification documents, the gunmen shot and killed all nine.

US President Donald Trump&#8217;s tariff offensive continues to escalate. Following his recent announcement of a 50 per cent tariff on Brazilian goods, Trump has now imposed hefty tariffs on imports from Canada. Trump announced on Thursday that the US will impose a 35% tariff (import duty) on goods imported from Canada starting next month, August. He also stated that the US will soon impose tariffs ranging from 15% to 20% on all other trading partners.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Letter Released on Social Media</h2>



Trump released a letter on his social media platform informing Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney that the new tariff rates will come into effect from August 1st. Not only that, but Trump also warned that these tariff rates would be increased if Canada retaliates. Since Monday, Trump has issued over 20 such letters announcing tariffs on various countries. The letter to Canada was the latest in this series. Through these letters, Trump has threatened dozens of economies with trade wars.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Announcement Despite Good Relations with Canadian PM</h2>



Trump and Carney are considered to have a good relationship. Carney recently visited the White House on May 6th. The two also met during the G7 summit held in Canada last month. Despite this, Trump announced a 35 percent tariff on Canada and warned of further increases in response to any countermeasures.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Those Who Didn&#8217;t Receive Letters Will Face Blanket Tariffs</h2>



During a media interaction on Thursday, Trump clarified that he doesn&#8217;t necessarily need to announce tariffs on all countries via letter. He explained that other trading partners who haven&#8217;t yet received letters might also face blanket tariffs. He said, &#8220;Everyone doesn&#8217;t need to get a letter, you know, we&#8217;re just setting our tariffs.&#8221; He further added, &#8220;All the other countries will also have to pay tariffs, whether it&#8217;s 20 per cent or 15 per cent. We&#8217;re working on that.&#8221;

Wiaan Mulder Reveals Conversation With Brian Lara: South Africa&#8217;s captain, Wiaan Mulder has remained in the spotlight following the Test series against Zimbabwe. Mulder scored an unbeaten 367 runs in the second Test against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo. He had a golden opportunity to break Brian Lara&#8217;s two-decade-old record for the highest individual score in Test cricket. However, he chose not to, opting instead to declare the innings.



By the end of the second day&#8217;s play, Mulder had reached 367 runs. He was just 33 runs short of Lara&#8217;s score achieved against England in Antigua in 2004. At that point, he declared the innings, leaving the record unbroken. Mulder later stated, &#8216;Firstly, I felt we had enough runs and should bowl. Secondly, Brian Lara is a legend. It&#8217;s fitting for someone of his stature to hold that record. If I had the chance again, I&#8217;d do exactly the same. I spoke to Shukri Conrad, and he felt the same way. Brian Lara is a legend and deserves to hold this record.&#8217;



He has now revealed that Lara called him and expressed regret that the record wasn&#8217;t broken. Mulder, speaking to SuperSport, said, “Brian Lara told me I should have gone for the record. That meant a lot to me. I was happy to hear that from him. He&#8217;s a legend of the game, and his 400 runs are still one of cricket&#8217;s greatest records. Things are a little better now, I felt relieved after speaking to Brian Lara. He told me to make my own name and that I should have gone after the record. He said records are meant to be broken and that he wants me to surpass what he did if I ever find myself in that situation again.”



Mulder added, &#8216;That was his point of view, but I still believe I did the right thing, and respecting the game is the most important part for me.&#8217; However, West Indies cricket legend Chris Gayle is far from pleased with Mulder&#8217;s decision, believing he made a significant mistake out of nervousness.



Gayle told &#8216;TalkSport&#8217;, “If I had the chance to score 400 runs, I would have gone for it. It doesn&#8217;t happen all the time. You don&#8217;t know when you&#8217;ll get another triple century. Whenever you get such an opportunity, you try to make the most of it. But Mulder was very generous in this matter. He said he wanted the record to remain with Brian Lara. Maybe he was nervous. He didn&#8217;t know what to do in that situation. Suppose you&#8217;re on 367; you have to take the risk of breaking the record. How else will you become a legend, because records come with being a legend.”



Gayle labelled the decision a mistake, stating, “I think it was a big mistake by Mulder that he didn&#8217;t try to break this record. We don&#8217;t know if he would have achieved it or not, but he declared the innings at a personal score of 367 and said what he had to say. But also consider that the opportunity to score 400 runs in a Test innings doesn&#8217;t come often in life. Young man, you missed it.”



Gayle concluded, “It doesn&#8217;t matter which opposing team it is. If you score 100 runs against any team, it&#8217;s a Test century. If you score 200, 300, or 400 runs, that&#8217;s Test cricket. It&#8217;s the best game. Mulder got nervous and made a mistake.”

Although several organisations have conducted research on the medicinal properties of camel milk in the past, now research will be conducted at the government level to harness the multifaceted benefits of camel milk. Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah also announced this at the Sahakari Samvad programme held recently in Ahmedabad.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Improving Milk Prices for Camel Herders: The Scheme&#8217;s Objective</h2>



In the Sahakari Samvad, Union Minister Amit Shah stated that the objective of the scheme is to fetch better prices for milk for camel herders. Meerabhen from Gujarat has involved 360 families in the camel milk business, resulting in good earnings. Emphasising the need for further research in this area, Shah said that three institutions have already started working in this direction. This scheme will not only open up economic opportunities for camel herders but will also contribute to strengthening the rural economy and conserving natural resources.

The government is bringing about changes in the dairy sector through several schemes. In the coming time, work will be done in cooperative dairies towards managing cow dung, managing the diet and health of animals, and increasing earnings from the use of cow dung. In co-operative dairies, cow dung will be used to make organic manure and gas. Out of 500 families working in milk production in the village, 400 families will be associated with the cooperative. Their animal dung work will also be given to the cooperative. In the next 6 months, all these schemes will take concrete shape and reach the cooperative institutions.

Heavy rainfall is expected in Bihar from 16 July onwards. According to the Meteorological Department, most parts of North Bihar will experience rainfall, more so than South Bihar. Over the next 24 hours, cloudy conditions are expected in 19 districts, including the capital city, with a possibility of thunderstorms and sporadic rainfall. No significant change in maximum temperature is anticipated over the next five days.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Cloudy Conditions Expected in Patna Today</h2>



The Meteorological Department predicts cloudy skies for Patna on Friday, with a possibility of thunderstorms and rainfall in a few areas. Intermittent rainfall has been reported across various parts of Patna since Wednesday night. Due to the intermittent rainfall over the past two days, Patna has witnessed a decrease of 2.3°C in minimum temperature and 2.9°C in maximum temperature. The minimum temperature recorded in Patna was 25.9°C and the maximum temperature was 31°C. Approximately 6 millimetres of rainfall was recorded in the last 24 hours.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Rainfall 52 Per cent Below Normal</h2>



The monsoon arrived in Bihar on 17 June. While most parts of the state received rainfall initially, it gradually decreased. For the past week, many districts have experienced almost no rainfall. According to the Meteorological Department, Bihar has received 52 percent less rainfall than normal until Thursday. The state should have received 275.1 millimetres of rainfall, but only 133.2 millimetres have been recorded so far.

Rampur News Today: A heart-wrenching accident occurred in the Ganj police station area of Rampur on Friday when a kite string entangled in a high-tension power line claimed the life of a motorbike rider. The incident happened when 42-year-old Ramchandra, a resident of Dungarpur village, was going to Johar Hospital with his wife Asha to visit a sick relative. Ramchandra died while trying to remove the kite string, while his wife sustained severe burns.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Accident on Degree College Road</h2>



As Ramchandra and his wife Asha were passing near GRPG College on their motorbike, they noticed a kite string hanging across the road. Ramchandra attempted to remove the string, but it was entangled in a high-tension wire. As he touched the string, he was electrocuted.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Asha also burnt while trying to save her husband</h2>



Seeing her husband electrocuted, Asha rushed to save him, but she too was burnt by the electric current. People present at the scene used sticks to separate the couple from the wire. However, Ramchandra had already lost consciousness. He was rushed to the district hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Asha&#8217;s hand was severely burnt, and she is undergoing treatment.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Kite flyers&#8217; negligence claims a life</h2>



According to locals, some young men add thin iron wires to kite strings to make them stronger. This wire got entangled in the high-tension line, causing the accident. Upon receiving information about the incident, the electricity department team arrived at the scene and removed the string.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Locals demand strict action</h2>



There is widespread anger among the locals over this incident. They say this is not the first such incident; several accidents have occurred due to kite strings before. They have demanded strict action against the negligent kite flyers and appealed to the administration to strictly prohibit this practice.
