
<p><strong>Forest Guard Recruitment Exam</strong>: The Special Operations Group (SOG) has detained another police constable from Barmer and an assistant station master from Gujarat&#8217;s railway system in connection with the forest guard exam paper leak case. The SOG team arrived in Barmer on Monday and, with the assistance of local police, took both accused into custody before departing for Jaipur.</p>



<p>ADG of ATS-SOG, V.K. Singh, stated that Likharam Jat, a resident of Jaduo ka Tala, Bijra, Barmer, and Kanwarram, also from Barmer, have been apprehended. Likharam&#8217;s wife, Timo, a forest guard, was arrested on Sunday along with another forest guard, Seema Kumari Chaudhary.</p>



<p>Likharam, through the assistance of Sanwarram, an assistant station master at Palanpur railway station in Gujarat, paid money to Naresh Dev alias ND Saran, a former student union president and ex-Congress councillor of the Government College, Barmer, to procure the exam paper for his wife before the examination. Assistant Station Master Sanwarram acted as a broker for accused Naresh Dev. The investigation continues, with five more accused who obtained the paper before the exam, and others who aided them, still being sought. It is noteworthy that three constables have already been arrested in this case.</p>

<p><strong>Eid-ul-Fitr Celebrations in Jaipur:</strong> Eid-ul-Fitr prayers were offered with utmost devotion and respect across the state on Monday. Thousands of Muslims in Jaipur and other major cities across the state attended Eid prayers. A spectacular example of Hindu-Muslim unity was also witnessed. In Jaipur, members of the Hindu community showered flowers on those offering prayers at the Eidgah, showcasing the spirit of Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb (composite culture).</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">A Unique Display of Brotherhood at Jaipur Eidgah</h2>



<p>The main Eid prayers in Jaipur were held at the Eidgah on Delhi Road. Khalid Usmani, Chief Qazi of Rajasthan, led the prayers for thousands of worshippers. A particularly special sight was witnessed when members of the Hindu community showered rose petals from a raised platform on the Muslim worshippers. Hindu community members, wearing saffron kurtas and saffron gamchas (towels) over their shoulders, were seen showering flowers on the Muslim community members offering prayers.</p>



<p>This scene became a symbol of Hindu-Muslim unity. It is reported that this event was organised by the ‘Hindu-Muslim Ekta Committee’ (Hindu-Muslim Unity Committee), aiming to spread a message of brotherhood and love in society.</p>

<p>In Ajmer, the main prayers were held at the Kaiserganj Eidgah. Devotees also offered prayers at the Shahjahani Masjid located in the Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Dargah. The Jannahti Darwaza (Heavenly Gate) of the Dargah was opened on this occasion, where devotees offered prayers and sought blessings.</p>



<p>In Jodhpur, thousands of worshippers offered prayers together at the Bari Eidgah located at Jalori Gate. Prayers for peace and prosperity in the country were offered in the presence of public representatives and administrative officials. Stringent security arrangements were made in the city during this time.</p>



<p>In Sikar, Imam Hafiz Mohammad Ibrahim led the prayers at the Jama Masjid from 8:45 AM to 9:15 AM. MP Amararam, MLA Rajendra Parikh, and District Collector Mukul Sharma offered Eid greetings to the Muslim community after the prayers.</p>

Jaipur's Eid-ul-Fitr: Hindus Shower Flowers on Muslim Worshippers


<p><strong>Toll Tax Hike in Rajasthan:</strong> Motorists travelling in Rajasthan will now have to pay more toll tax on the Jaipur-Ajmer highway. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has increased toll rates from 1 April, resulting in an additional burden of ₹10 to ₹70 on vehicles of different categories. These new rates will come into effect from midnight tonight.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Impact on Motorists&#8217; Pockets</h2>



<p>The Jaipur-Ajmer highway has two major toll plazas—Thikriya and Bardagawan-Kishangarh—where toll tax rates have been increased. According to the new rates, at the Thikriya toll plaza, the toll for cars will be ₹95 (up from ₹85), light commercial vehicles and minibuses ₹155 (up from ₹140), buses and trucks ₹330 (up from ₹295), 3XL commercial vehicles ₹360 (up from ₹320), heavy vehicles (4 to 6 axles) ₹515 (up from ₹460), and vehicles with more than 7 axles ₹630 (up from ₹560). At the Bardagawan-Kishangarh toll plaza, the toll for cars has been fixed at ₹60 (up from ₹55).</p>



<p>Following this increase, those travelling from Jaipur to Kishangarh by car will now have to pay ₹155, up from ₹140 previously. Similarly, the toll for light commercial vehicles and minibuses has increased from ₹225 to ₹240.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Jaipur-Kishangarh: One of India&#8217;s Busiest Highways</h2>



<p>The Jaipur-Kishangarh highway is considered one of the top 10 busiest highways in the country. More than 33,000 vehicles on average pass through this highway daily, from which toll is collected. The increased toll rates will directly impact the pockets of motorists. In addition, there are plans to increase toll tax on the Southern Ring Road in Jaipur, although official announcements regarding the new rates are yet to be made.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Toll Hike Cited for Flyover Construction</h2>



<p>The NHAI says the toll rate increase is due to infrastructure improvement projects. A total of 10 flyovers have been constructed on Ajmer Road in the last four years, including Bhankrota, Hirapura, Dahmikalan, Mahalan, Nursingpura, Gadhota, Savarda, Padasolia, Mokhampura, and Bandar Sindri.</p>



<p>NHAI officials say that toll rates are revised every year from 1 April, and this increase has also been made under the prescribed procedure. They claim that the toll increase was necessary due to high maintenance costs and new infrastructure development works.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Traffic Congestion Remains a Problem on the Highway</h2>



<p>However, local motorists and passengers say that the problem of traffic congestion on the highway still persists, and passengers are not getting any relief despite the increase in toll rates. There is resentment among local motorists and the general public regarding the increase in toll tax. People travelling on this route daily say that the facilities have not improved, but the toll tax is being continuously increased.</p>

<p><strong>Lamborghini hits two pedestrians on the footpath in Noida:</strong> Big news is coming about famous YouTuber Mridul Tiwari. The police have taken him for questioning. <p><strong>Riyan Parag Fined for Slow Over Rate, IPL 2025:</strong> Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain Riyan Parag has been fined for maintaining a slow over rate. He becomes the second captain this season to be penalised under this rule. Earlier, Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Hardik Pandya was also fined for a slow over-rate. Pandya received this penalty after their match in Ahmedabad on Saturday, where his team suffered a 36-run defeat against the Gujarat Titans (GT).</p>



<p><strong>Strict IPL Rules –</strong> A press release issued by the IPL stated that since this is the Rajasthan Royals&#8217; first offence regarding slow over rates, Parag has been fined ₹12 lakh under Article 2.22 of the IPL Code of Conduct. The IPL has strict rules regarding slow over rates. If a team fails to complete its overs within the stipulated time, its captain is fined. For a first offence, the captain faces a financial penalty; repeated offences can lead to penalties for other team players.</p>



<p><strong>Parag to Relinquish Captaincy –</strong> Riyan Parag captained the Rajasthan Royals for the first three matches of IPL 2025, as regular captain Sanju Samson was recovering from a finger injury. Samson recently underwent finger surgery and rejoined the team after completing his rehabilitation at the Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. However, he was not cleared for wicketkeeping and fielding and played only as a batsman. During this time, Dhruv Jurel took on the wicket-keeping responsibilities forthe  Rajasthan Royals.</p>

<p><strong>RPSC Update:</strong> The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) will resume its recruitment examinations from April. <p><strong>CG Registry 2025:</strong> The implementation of new government guideline rates for land in Raigarh district, Chhattisgarh, may be delayed this year due to a lack of prior preparation. Proposals were requested from all district headquarters at the end of March. It is noteworthy that every year, until the end of March, land registrations were conducted at the old government guideline rates, with revised rates coming into effect from April 1st.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">CG Registry 2025: Proposals Now Being Requested</h2>



<p>The revised rates will not be implemented from April 1st this year because, by March 31st, the government had requested land sale and other information from the registration departments of all districts. Information on area-wise revisions has been requested by April 15th. In this situation, after collecting information by April 15th, deliberations will be held on the proposals, after which a decision will be taken.</p>



<p>Overall, it is being said that orders for the revised rates will be issued by the end of April, and the new rates will be implemented from May. This time, the district registration department is two months behind in finalising the revised rates. After the government&#8217;s order, proposals are being prepared at the district level for revising the rates. In this, it is being ensured that consideration is given to which areas saw the highest land sales in previous years and which areas have the highest demand.</p>

Ranthambore National Park Entry Fees May Rise by 10% from April 1


<p><strong>Rajasthan News:</strong> Visiting Ranthambore National Park is about to get more expensive. The Forest Department is planning to increase park entry fees by approximately 10 percent. According to reports, the new rates will come into effect from the morning shift on 1 April.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Park Entry Fees Increased Annually Since 2016</h2>



<p>It is noteworthy that park entry fees have been increased every year since 2016. However, the Forest Department only increases the entry fee by ten percent, not the entire amount. Therefore, an increase of ₹50 to ₹100 per person is expected for jeep and canter safaris.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Current Park Entry Fees</h2>



<p>According to information received from the Forest Department, currently, Indian tourists pay ₹889 and foreign tourists pay ₹2294 for a canter safari. For jeep safaris, ₹1470 is charged for Indian tourists and ₹2790 for foreign tourists.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Annual Fee Increases Met with Opposition</h2>



<p>Those involved in the tourism industry in Ranthambore are opposing the Forest Department&#8217;s policy of increasing park entry fees annually. They argue that Ranthambore&#8217;s entry fees are already high, and further increases are inappropriate, placing an unnecessary financial burden on tourists. They also fear that repeated price hikes could divert tourists to tiger reserves in other states.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">New Rates Effective 1 April</h2>
