अलेई मार्ग पर एक पेट्रोल पंप के पास से बदमाशों की ओर से दिनदहाड़े कार सवार तीन युवकों का अपहरण करने का मामला सामने आया है। पुलिस के अनुसार दो घंटे बाद तीनों युवक सकुशल घर पहुंच गए। 
कोतवाल राजेश मीना ने बताया की मामला लेन-देन का था। तीनों युवक अपने घर सकुशल पहुंच गए हैं। अज्ञात बदमाश राजगढ़-अलेई सडक़ पर एक पेट्रोल पंप के समीप युवकों की गाड़ी को मौके पर छोडकऱ खुद की गाड़ी में अपहरण कर ले गए थे। सूचना पर पहुंची पुलिस ने सीसीटीवी फुटेज खंगाले हैं। इसमें बदमाशों की दो गाडियां दिख रही है। सीसीटीवी फुटेज में बदमाशों की एक स्कार्पियो व स्विफ्ट गाड़ी नजर आ रही है। नकाबपोश बदमाश के हाथों में हथियार भी नजर आए। अज्ञात बदमाशों ने युवकों की गाड़ी में तोडफ़ोड़ भी की। पुलिस मामले में जांच कर रही है। गौरतलब है कि 24 अक्टूबर को भी सैनी पेट्रोल पंप के समीप एक लोहा व्यापारी पर फायङ्क्षरग की घटना हुई थी।

The school building&#8217;s walls are crumbling in several places. The roof constantly leaks. The situation worsens during rainfall. Weather Update: A low-pressure area is expected to form over the northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal region from Monday, leading to intensified weather activities from Tuesday. This will bring widespread rainfall across the state, including Jaipur. 



According to the Jaipur Meteorological Centre, the impact of this weather system suggests that the monsoon is likely to remain active in most parts of eastern Rajasthan for the next week. A heavy rain alert has been issued for more than 15 districts including Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, Sikar, Jaipur, Alwar, Dausa, Bharatpur, Baran, Banswara, Udaipur, and Sirohi on Tuesday. 



Furthermore, at 5 am, the Meteorological Department issued a double alert for 8 districts of Rajasthan.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Winds to blow at 30-50 KMPH</h2>



According to the Meteorological Department&#8217;s prediction, on Tuesday, July 1st, there is a likelihood of light to moderate rainfall with one or two spells of heavy rain at isolated places in and around Bharatpur, Dholpur, Alwar, Dausa, Karauli, and Sawai Madhopur districts. Along with this, there is also a possibility of lightning and strong surface winds with speeds reaching 30-50 KMPH. An orange alert has been issued for these six districts by the Meteorological Department.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Yellow Alert for 2 Rajasthan Districts</h2>



Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for two districts of Rajasthan. Under this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning, and strong surface winds at isolated places in and around Baran and Kota districts. The wind speed is also expected to reach 30-50 KMPH during this time.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Churu Records New Rainfall Record for Monsoon</h2>



According to Meteorological Department data, people in Jaipur experienced intense humidity over the past 24 hours. Some districts, including Kota, Udaipur, Bhilwara, Hanumangarh, and Sikar, experienced light rain during the day, but this did not provide much relief from the humidity. Churu set a new record for monsoon rainfall. The highest rainfall in a single day was recorded in Churu. 85.1 mm of rainfall was recorded in Churu. This is the highest one-day rainfall recorded in June so far. Previously, 81.9 mm of rainfall was recorded on June 24, 1988. In addition, 18.6 mm of rainfall was recorded in Sri Ganganagar, 33.5 mm in Fatehpur, 1 mm in Karauli, 4 mm in Jhunjhunu, 17.2 mm in Pilani, 19.8 mm in Sikar, and 16 mm in Pali.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Maximum Temperatures in Key Locations</h2>



The maximum temperature recorded was 34.1°C in Jaipur, 38°C in Jaisalmer, 38.3°C in Bikaner, 36.7°C in Sriganganagar, 35.3°C in Churu, 40.3°C in Sri Ganganagar, 37.6°C in Loonkaransar, 35.6°C in Pilani, and 37.1°C in Barmer.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Important for Kharif Season</h2>



1- The southwest monsoon brings about 70% of the country&#8217;s annual rainfall during June-September. It is crucial for India&#8217;s economy. 2- It is essential for enabling agricultural activities, including Kharif sowing, and recharging groundwater and reservoirs. 3- During these four months, the highest rainfall usually occurs in July (long-term average 280.4 mm). This year, July rainfall is expected to be 106% of the long-term average.

Jaipur JDA Action: Jaipur: The Enforcement Branch of the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) took strict action against two illegal colonies on Monday. Both colonies were being developed in violation of regulations on agricultural land.



It is noteworthy that illegal colonies were being established on approximately two bighas of agricultural land on Ajay Rajpura Road in the Gral Kalwara area and on approximately five bighas in Devi Singh Pura. During the action, the JDA team completely demolished the gravel and mud roads and boundary walls of the plots that had been constructed.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">‘Will Not Be Tolerated’</h2>



Officials clarified that such constructions without approval and conversion of agricultural land will not be tolerated and that such actions will continue. Meanwhile, the vigilance branch of the Jaipur Greater Municipal Corporation also launched a campaign against temporary encroachments on Monday.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Corporation&#8217;s Vigilance Branch Takes Action</h2>



Ajay Sharma, Deputy Commissioner of the vigilance branch, informed that action was taken against illegally placed carts and shops from Haldighati Marg via Pannadhary Circle to the Coaching Hub, Maharana Pratap Circle, NRI Circle, Dwarkapuri, RUHs, Kumbha Marg, Sanganer Government Hospital, vegetable market and under the Durgapura bridge.



During this time, 11 canter loads of goods were seized and a carrying charge of ₹1000 was also collected. Both the Municipal Corporation and the JDA have warned of strict action against illegal construction and encroachment in the city.

India vs Bangladesh: The Indian team is currently on a tour of England, playing a five-match Test series. Following this tour, Team India is scheduled to tour Bangladesh for a limited-overs series. Three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 (T20) matches are slated for August under the ICC Future Tours Programme. This series was initially set to begin on 17 August at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. However, escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, and the political situation following the change in the Sheikh Hasina government in August last year, have cast a shadow over the India vs Bangladesh series, as the BCCI is yet to receive government clearance for the tour.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">BCB Chairman Provides Update</h2>



Aminul Islam, the chairman of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), confirmed after a marathon board meeting on Monday that discussions with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are ongoing. He stated, &#8220;We are having positive discussions with the BCCI. We are discussing how we can do the series and if we cannot host it right now, we will do it at some other possible time.&#8221; Aminul added that while India hasn&#8217;t formally requested a postponement, the tour hinges on government approval.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Team India&#8217;s Schedule Packed Until January 2026</h2>



Interestingly, Bangladesh is planning for a new window. Team India&#8217;s calendar is quite busy until January 2026, immediately followed by the T20 World Cup 2026 and then IPL 2026. Therefore, if the India tour of Bangladesh doesn&#8217;t happen next month, the BCB might have to wait until after IPL 2026.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli Set for Return</h2>



It&#8217;s worth noting that India hasn&#8217;t won an ODI series in Bangladesh since 2014. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, both having retired from Test cricket, are poised to return to the ODI setup. The three-match ODI series will commence on 17 August in Mirpur and conclude on 23 August in Chattogram. The T20 series, scheduled from 26 to 31 August, marks India&#8217;s first bilateral T20 series on Bangladeshi soil.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Suryakumar Yadav May Miss Some Matches</h2>



India&#8217;s T20 captain, Suryakumar Yadav, is recovering from sports hernia surgery in England. He may miss some initial matches. If unavailable, Axar Patel could lead the T20 team. Railway New Update: Indian Railways is implementing significant changes to its regulations from 1 July 2025, most notably affecting instant ticket booking. Now, only passengers with Aadhaar verification will be able to book instant tickets through the IRCTC website or mobile app. The railway administration states this measure aims to curb fraudulent bookings and enhance transparency in the ticketing process. This new system is expected to increase transparency in instant ticket booking and curb the activities of intermediaries. Railways has advised passengers to link their Aadhaar with their IRCTC profile and keep their mobile numbers updated before booking.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">New Fares for New Tickets</h2>



Railways has also revised train fares, effective for tickets booked from 1 July onwards. Tickets booked before this date will remain valid at the old fare; no additional charges or adjustments will be made. The railway&#8217;s PRS, UTS, and manual ticketing systems are being updated accordingly.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">OTP-Based Identification Mandatory from 15 July</h2>



Another significant change will be implemented by Indian Railways from 15 July 2025. OTP-based identity verification will be mandatory for booking tickets online or through PRS counters and authorised agents. A one-time password (OTP) will be sent to the mobile number provided during booking; the booking will only be completed after verification of this OTP.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">New Rules: At a Glance</h2>



From 1 July – Only Aadhaar-verified users can book instant tickets through the IRCTC website/app. From 15 July – OTP-based identification will be mandatory for bookings through PRS counters and agents. Train Fares – Revised fares will be applicable from 1 July; existing tickets will not be affected.

Railway New Update: Indian Railways is implementing significant changes to its Tatkal ticket booking system effective 1 July 2025. From today onwards, only Aadhaar-verified users will be permitted to book Tatkal tickets. Furthermore, revisions to ticket fares have also been introduced.

Madhya Pradesh Power Company Relaxes Selfie Attendance Rules for Field Officers

Controversy surrounds attendance tracking for officials and employees in Madhya Pradesh (MP). Various departments have implemented strict measures, even developing dedicated apps. However, this has faced significant resistance from officials and employees. Against this backdrop, the Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company has made a significant decision regarding selfie-based attendance. The company has granted considerable leeway to its field officers.



According to the company, field officers are frequently on field visits to ensure uninterrupted power supply and meet operational needs. They are constantly involved in maintenance, power supply, and infrastructure-related work, making it difficult to adhere to a fixed attendance schedule. Therefore, to ensure the effective implementation of field work, a decision has been made to grant these officers some flexibility in their attendance.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Exemption from Two-Time Selfie Attendance Requirement</h2>



Now, field officers of the rank of Junior Engineer (JE) and above will only need to register their attendance once during office hours instead of twice. Junior Engineers (JE) and above officers deployed on field duty in the Operations and Maintenance (O&amp;M), STM/STC, Vigilance, BI Cell, and Civil departments will be exempted from the requirement of registering their attendance twice via selfies on the ‘Attendance Portal 2.0’.



The company clarified that field officers of JE rank and above on field duty can register their attendance only once at any convenient time during the day. However, officers posted in the corporate office or those working only in office duties in field units will continue to follow the existing system of registering their attendance twice. All other employees, including outsourced employees, will continue with the existing attendance system, punching in by 10:00 AM and punching out by 6:00 PM. The working hours will remain 8 hours.



The company stated that this relaxation is solely for the smooth operation of field activities and does not absolve personnel of their responsibility to be present at their workplace. This arrangement will be in effect as a pilot project from 1 July to 30 September 2025.

According to railway officials, coaches of various classes have been added to a total of 46 pairs of trains, including Bikaner-Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Bikaner, Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Udaipur City-Delhi Sarai, Bikaner-Dadar-Bikaner, Udaipur City-Jaipur-Udaipur City, Jaipur-Jodhpur-Jaipur, Ajmer-Amritsar-Ajmer, and Madar-Kolkata-Madar Express.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Puri-Jodhpur to Operate on Altered Route</h2>



Due to yard remodelling work at Sambalpur station of the East Coast Railway, two pairs of trains of the North Western Railway are being operated on a diverted route. According to railway officials, the Puri-Lalgarh and Puri-Jodhpur trains will operate via Sarla-Sambalpur City until 27 August, the Jodhpur-Puri train until 30 August, and the Lalgarh-Puri train until 31 August.
